BSP expands ATM services in Samoa

Friday, March 21, 2025

Customers in Samoa now have the convenience of accessing cash at more ATM sites following the installation of additional ATMs this week.

New ATMs have been installed at two popular locations; Myna’s Supermarket in Vailima and Keke’s Store & Bakery in Mulivai Safata.

Samoa Country Manager Tunumafono Jennifer Ula-Fruean said the bank continues to enhance its network and the additional ATMs is aligned with BSP’s commitment of making banking services more accessible for our communities and visitors.

“BSP remains committed to improving financial accessibility and delivering exceptional services to its customers. These ATMs ensure both local residents and overseas visitors can conveniently access funds while enjoying these vibrant areas. These installations complement existing agent services at both locations, which have provided deposit and withdrawal services for many years. The ATMs at Myna’s Supermarket and Keke’s Store & Bakery now add greater convenience for customers,” she added.

With 39 ATMs across 34 locations in Samoa—34 in Upolu and 5 in Savaii—BSP continues to enhance its network. The EFTPOS network now serves over 350 merchants and 38 active agents.

Pelenatete Luka, owner of Keke’s Store & Bakery, expressed her gratitude stating “This service has been long-awaited and benefits not only the Safata community but also visitors from abroad. We commend BSP for improving banking accessibility.”
