BSP announces sponsorship for Miss Samoa Pageant 2024

BSP is proud to announce its Sai Sauo'o sponsorship of $15,000 to the 2024 Miss Samoa Pageant.

As a prominent financial institution in the region, BSP Samoa is honoured to support this esteemed event, celebrating the beauty, culture, and talent of Samoan women.

BSP Samoa Country Head Jennifer Ula-Fruean in presenting BSP’s support said the Miss Samoa Pageant has long been a cherished tradition, promoting cultural pride and providing a platform for young Samoan women to achieve their dreams. This year is special as it is the year for CHOGM and that this pageant will continue to provide a platform to highlight our country’s challenges and priorities not only in Samoa, regionally but internationally.

"We are thrilled to be part of the Miss Samoa Pageant 2024. It is our privilege to contribute to the success of this significant cultural event, and we are excited about the opportunity to support and empower the contestants as they showcase their talents and heritage," she said.

The reigning Miss Pacific Islands, Miss Samoa Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke received the sponsorship and expressed her deep appreciation to BSP. “Thank you BSP for believing in me and supporting my journey as Miss Pacific Island.  This sponsorship means a great deal, not just to me but to all the young women in our region. It allows us to showcase our culture and work on projects that can make a real difference in our communities.”
